Lady Carpenter

I'm Andisiwe Ganca I'm a 27-years-old carpenter, who lives in mthatha eastern cape, I have always loved wooden furniture and designed built-ins. My passion for wood work started when I was 18 years old and I knew that this is what I want to do a young black woman. I realised that there are not a lot of women carpenters in South Africa. This motivated me even more to attain the skills and to become who I am today. I wanted to know how to do the job because I am really passionate about making wooden products but it didn't take long for me to be the best in what I do. Me & my husband ( Lulo) we registered our Carpentry company about 5 years ago. The business has grown and we had to hire additional carpenters but we remain hands-on. As I do not imagine my self without woodwork. Today, the company employs two people on a permanent basis and offers part-time work when there are a high number of orders to meet. “Most of our clients are local home-owners and business people. We appreciate our clients by doing great work for them.

We do every form of wood work from kitchen built-ins, wardrobe built-ins, closets to Morden built-in TV stands.
